Shopping list for your very own Digital Video Recorder, using Beyond TV.
Ready? Okay, here it is:
Beyond TV 3, Firefly PC Remote and Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250BTV (PCI) kit
Yup, that's it. It's a single kit for $179.00 and includes everything you need to actually turn your own computer into a DVR.
To direct the video to a TV, you might also need a new video card with a TV out connector. Mine also supports dual desktops, so I can still use the computer while watching the TV. Yeah, it's sweet, huh?
