Creating a Sitemap with Blogger

Since my move away from BlogSpot and to my own hosting, I've been having trouble getting listed in Google. So, to help out, I've added a brand new Site Map and Navigation section in the Side Bar. Yes, I know you're all just so excited.

I used Blogger to create the Site Map by swapping out the template with a special version. The new template includes only the post title enclosed in a link to the post page. Publishing puts the Site Map into my index.html file, which I just rename to sitemap.html. Make sure to up the number of posts to publish. Then I just replace the original template and republish to get my site back to normal.

There must be more efficient methods out there. Anyone care to comment?
