When Good Computers Go Bad

The simple truth is that computers are complicated. And sometimes, and just when you need it most, your computer will crash. So, yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll talk about backups another time. Hopefully, it's not so bad and you can just turn the machine off and then back on, and it'll be working just fine again.

And then other times, well, it's not so good. For whatever reason your computer is hosed. Try everything you can to get it back up and running. Call your friends, relatives, and neighbors to help. When all else fails, pull out the restore CD's that came with your computer. Pop the first one in and restart the computer. This will restore your computer back to the way it was when you opened the box.

Clearly not a fun thing to happen, but there is life after when good computer go bad.
