Burning CD's with Software

Part of my objective here with this blog is to just cut through the jargon. Even though there may be a thousand possibilities to do what you want, I'm just not going to discuss them all. And so it is with making CD's. The question was posed to be recently "How can I burn a CD?" and I was surprised at myself that I didn't really have a good answer.

Part of the problem is that I've never really looked into this question myself. Sure I've made CD's, but if I'm being honest, I have to say that I've made many more shiny coasters than CD's. Yup, it's true, I'm always a bit surprised when the CD is actually created correctly. And frankly, I find the process about as enjoyable as copying files to a floppy disk.

But I do have to admit that creating a CD has a certain wow factor. Not to mention that it's a convienent way to carry around lots of data or music. So, enough talk. What you need is called Nero Ultra Edition 6. You can download it by clicking here. This is a demo version, you'll need to pay 70 bucks to get it licensed. It's a great program, and very easy to use. And even better, you won't have to fiddle with a bunch of settings!
